The Classic Cloer Waffle Recipe


Ingredients:
6 eggs
1 bottle of lemon flavor (approx. 30g) or use small amount of lemon / citrus peel as alternative
1 bottle of rum flavor (optional, approx. 30g)
1 packet of baking powder (approx. 3 tsp.)
1 packet of vanilla sugar (approx. 3 tsp.)
200 g sugar
200 g butter or margarine
500 g plain flour
125 ml mineral water (suggest carbonated)

Preparation:
All ingredients should be prepared at room temperature.
1. First add sugar, vanilla sugar, flavors and eggs into the bowl. Stir well for 10mins until becomes thick, fluffy and foamy cream.
2. Add butter into the bowl and mix again. Make sure the butter is soft but not warmed to room temperature.
3. Pre-mix the flour and baking powder. Put the flour mixture and mineral water alternately into the dough.
4. Stir in so much water that the dough is still viscous but flows freely from the spoon.
5. Let the dough rest for at least 25 minutes, but not longer than 1 hour.
6. Put the dough in the back half of the baking pan of the Cloer waffle maker and close the lid quickly. Squeeze the handles firmly for a few seconds and bake the waffles until golden brown.

食材:
6隻雞蛋
1瓶檸檬香油 (大約30克) 或用少量檸檬/柑橘皮屑代替
1瓶Rum酒香油 (可隨意添加, 大約30克)
1包泡打粉 (大約3茶匙)
1包雲呢拿糖 (大約3茶匙)
200克糖
200克牛油或人造牛油
500克中筋麵粉
125毫升礦泉水(建議用有汽礦泉水)

製作步驟:
注意: 所有食材應在室溫下準備。
1. 首先將糖,雲呢拿糖,香油和雞蛋加入碗中。充分攪拌10分鐘直至變成糊狀。
2. 將牛油或人造牛油加入碗中,並再次混合。(請確保牛油是軟身的,理想的是在室溫下放置直至變軟,避免額外加熱)
3. 先將麵粉和泡打粉混合。然後將麵粉混合物和礦泉水交替放入麵糊中,拌勻。
4. 請加入適量的礦泉水保持麵糊粘性,但仍可以從湯匙中自由流出。
5 .讓麵糊靜置至少25分鐘,但不超過1小時。
6. 先將Cloer窩夫機預熱,然後將麵糊放入烤盤的後半部分,之後快速合上蓋子。用力擠壓手柄幾秒鐘,然後烤餅直到金黃色。
